Myrna Loy (born Myrna Adele Williams in Helena, Montana
(August 2, 1905 – December 14, 1993)


Myrna Loy was a popular actress from the 1930’s who starred in the film
The Thin Man (1934). She was named the Queen of Hollywood in 1937.

Although Loy was never nominated for a competitive Academy Award, in
March 1991 she was presented with an Honorary Academy Award with the
inscription "In recognition of her extraordinary qualities both on screen and
off, with appreciation for a lifetime’s worth of indelible performances".

Sally Anne Struthers

Emmy Award-winning actress Sally Struthers played the role of
Gloria Stivic on the CBS television series All in the Family, for
which she won two Emmy awards. She later became a speaker
for Save the Children. Sally was born in Portland, Oregon and
attended Grant High School.

The Farina brothers: Santo (right) and Johnny (left) were born in
Brooklyn, New York.  

The song “Sleep Walk” was recorded at Trinity Music in Manhattan, New
York City
, New York. It entered Billboard’s Top 40 on August 17, 1959 and
rose to the number-one position for two weeks in September and remained
in the Top 40 until November 9. The single also reached number four on the
R&B chart. It was the last instrumental to hit number one in the 1950s and
earned Santo & Johnny a gold record.

Walter Andrew Brennan (July 25, 1894 – September 21, 1974)

Brennan played Grandpa McCoy on The Real McCoys sitcom on ABC from
1957 to 1963. He, Daniel Day-Lewis, and Jack Nicholson are the first three
men to win three Oscar Awards.
