Flowers and Trees is a 1932 Silly Symphonies cartoon produced by Walt Disney. It
was released to theaters by United Artists on July 30, 1932. The short was the first commercially released film to be produced in the full Technicolor process. Flowers
and Trees was a commercial and critical success, winning the first Academy Award
for Animated Short Subjects.

“Shout was the Isley Brothers first million-selling hit. It did not reach
higher than #47 on the Billboard Hot 100, it became their first gold
single on the basis of its longevity. The song was inducted to the
Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999 and is ranked #118 on Rolling
Stone’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list.

“The Lion Sleeps Tonight” scored #1 on the Billboard Hot 100
chart, where it remained for three weeks. It sold more than one
million copies, and was awarded a gold disc.

Sally Ann Struthers was born in Portland, Oregon where she attended Grant
High School. Sally is best-known for her role as Gloria Stivic on All in the
Family. The sitcom was originally broadcast on the CBS television network
from January 12, 1971 to April 8, 1979. In September 1979, a new show,
Archie Bunker’s Place, picked up where All in the Family had ended. This
sitcom lasted another four years, ending its run in 1983. Struthers won
two Emmy awards for her character. She also played Babette on the sitcom
Gilmore Girls which debuted in 2000 on the WB TV network and was  later
cancelled in its seventh season in 2007 on the CW television network.

A Horse With No Name” was the first and most successful single, released by 
the band America in early 1972, topping the charts in several countries. It
was certified “gold” by the Recording Industry Association of America.
