PAUL HOGAN IS 76 TODAY

Australian actor Paul Hogan became known for starring as the title character
in the Crocodile Dundee films. The first Crocodile Dundee movie, released in
1986, earned him a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture
Musical or Comedy. He also played Porter in the 1996 film, Flipper, and
portrayed Shane in the 1998 film, Floating Away.

John J. (Cougar) Mellencamp is 64 years old today.

Singer-songwriter Mellencamp has been nominated for more than ten
Grammy Awards, winning one. Billy Joel helped induct him into the Rock
and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008. Johnny Cash called Mellencamp "one of
the 10 best songwriters" in music.

Charlton Heston (born John Charles Carter in California)
(October 4, 1923 – April 5, 2008)

Oscar winner and three-term president of the NRA, Charlton
Heston starred in Planet of the Apes (1968) Ben Hur (1958)
and is best known for his 1956 role as Moses in The Ten
Commandments.
He appeared in over 100 films during a
6-decade career.
