"Big Girls Don’t Cry" was written by Bob Crewe and Bob Gaudio. It
hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on November 17, 1962,
and spent  five weeks in the top position. It also made it to
number one, for three weeks, on Billboard’s Rhythm and
Blues survey.

“Sugar Shack” spent five weeks on the Billboard chart and went
on to become the best selling single of the year.
