"Suspicious Minds" became one of Elvis Presley’s most notable hits and was
widely regarded as the single that returned Presley’s career, following the
‘68 Comeback Special that was televised on December 2nd. The song was
his seventeenth and last number-one record in the U.S.

Turn! Turn!", is a adapted entirely from the Book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible. It
reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on December 4 and remained on top until
the 18th of December.

“96 Tears” was written by Rudy Martinez (Question Mark) and was first
released on the small Pa-Go-Go label. It was soon picked up by Cameo
Records for national distribution. The original issue of the record is quite
rare and is a collectors item. The song is widely-recognized as one of the
first garage band hits and is ranked #210 on the Rolling Stone list of the
500 Greatest Songs of All Time.
