The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour was a TV comedy and variety show hosted
by the Smothers Brothers (above). It aired on CBS until September 15, 1969. The
series showcased new musical artists.

Bishop began his career as part of a standup comedy act with his elder brother,
Maury. He guest-hosted on television’s Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson 
and frequently appeared on Steve Allen’s and Jack Paar’s previous versions
of The Tonight Show, both on NBC.

Joey starred in a sit-com titled The Joey Bishop Show, that ran for four seasons,
first  on NBC and later on CBS. He later hosted a talk show also titled The Joe
Bishop Show on ABC (below) as competition to Carson’s Tonight Show. It ran
for two years. His sidekick was then-newcomer Regis Philbin.

Groundhog Day is a 1993  comedy movie directed and co-written by Harold
Ramis, starring Bill Murry and Andie MacDowell. In 2006, the film was added to
the United States National Film Registry as being deemed "culturally, historically,
or aesthetically significant."

Christie Brinkley  is best known for her three consecutive appearances
as a model on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in the late
1970s and early 1980s, for her long-running contract with CoverGirl the
longest ever of any model in history, and for her marriage to musician
Billy Joel. Brinkley has also worked an an actress, illustrator, photographer,
writer, and designer. Christie played her first role as an actress in the 1983 
hit National Lampoon’s Vacation as "The girl in the red Ferrari" (below)
opposite Chevy Chase.

Carol Elaine Channing ,born in Seattle, Washington, is a singer, actress, and comedienne . She has received three Tony Awards (including one for lifetime achievement), a Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination. Channing is best
remembered for originating, on Broadway, the musical-comedy roles of
bombshell Lorelei Lee in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and matchmaking
widow Dolly Gallagher Levi in Hello Dolly!
