Gale Gordon (February 20, 1906 – June 30, 1995)
Character actor Gale Gordon is probably best remembered as Lucille
Ball’s longtime TV foil and bank executive Theodore J. Mooney, on Ball’s
second TV sitcom, The Lucy Show on CBS from 1962-1968. Prior to his
television career, Gordon was a respected radio actor.

brought comedian Harvey Korman his greatest fame. He was nominated
for six Emmy Awards for his work on the show, and won four times – in
1969, 1971 (for “Outstanding Achievement” by a performer in music or
variety), in 1972 and 1974. Korman was also nominated for four Golden
Globes for the series, winning in 1975.
