NBC radio from 1948 to 1952. It made the switch to television in 1952
and ran until 1961. The original host was the shows producer Ralph
Edwards.

Death Valley Days originated as an anthology series on the NBC Blue Radio
network. It featured true stories of the old West, particularly the Death Valley
area in California. Created in 1930 by Ruth Woodman, the program was aired 
on radio until 1945. It continued from 1952 to 1975 as a syndicated TV series.

The-Red-Skelton-Show
Original television run on NBC/CBS: September 30, 1951  – August 1, 1971

During its run, the show received three Emmy Awards, for Red Skelton as best
comedian and the program as best comedy show during its initial season, and
an award for comedy writing in 1961. In 1959 Skelton also received a Golden
Globe
for Best TV Show.
