Grand-opening-of-first-Taco-Bell 

On March 21, 1962, Glen Bell opened his first Taco Bell restaurant in Downey,
California. The fast food chain now serves more than 2 billion customers each
year in more than 5,800 restaurants in the U.S., more than 80 percent of which
are owned and operated by independent franchisees.

“Strangers In The Night” reached number one on both the Billboard Hot 100
chart and the Easy Listening chart. it was the title song for Sinatra’s 1966
album Strangers in the Night, which became his most commercially
successful album. It won him the Grammy Award for Best Male Pop
Vocal Performance
and the Grammy Award for Record of the Year in
1967.
