Jeopardy!, the trivia quiz show, has a decades-long broadcast history. It was created
by Merv Griffin in 1964 and originally ran in the daytime on NBC-TV. The first host
of the show was Art Fleming (shown below).

Vicki Lawrence  is a  actress,comedienne, and singer, who was frequently a
game show panelist in the 1970s and 1980s. She is best known for her co-
starring role on The Carol Burnett Show from 1967 to 1978 on CBS-TV, and
as the sharp-tongued matriarch, Thelma Harper on the NBC sitcom Mama’s
Family
, airing from 1983 to 1990, which was spun off from The Carol Burnett
Show’s
The Family sketches). As a singer in 1972 she recorded The Night
the Lights Went out in Georgia that went to the #1 chart position.

COMEDIAN LOUIE ANDERSON IS 58 TODAY

Stand-up comedian Louie  Anderson created and produced a Saturday morning 
animated series for Fox called Life With Louie in 1995. He has written three 
books,and was the initial host of the second revival of the ABC-TV game show
Family Feud, from 1999 to 2002.

NBC’s Concentration, aired for 14  years, 7 months for a total of 3,770 telecasts
from August 25, 1958 to March 23, 1973, the longest run of any game show on
NBC. The series was hosted by Hugh Downs (pictured above) and later by Bob
Clayton (below). For a six-month period from March to September 1969, Ed
McMahan hosted the show which was based on the children’s memory game
of the same name.
