DALE DYE TURNED 68 TODAY
Dale Adam Dye is a actor businessman, and retired U.S. Marine captain who
served in combat during the Vietnam War. He began his military career as a
Private and rose to the rank of Captain. After his retirement for the Marine
Corps in 1984 , Dye founded Warriors, Inc.,a company that specializes in
training actors for realistic military portrayals, for films of the war genre. He
also acts in movies himself while serving as a military technical advisor. Dye
currently plays Col. Porter in the TNT science fiction series Falling Skies.

Robbins served in the Navy until 1945
Marty Robbins (Martin David Robinson)
(September 26, 1925 – December 8, 1982)
Robbins was one of Country Music’s best loved and most successful and singers
of his time. His 1957 recording of "A White Sport Coat and a Pink Carnation" sold
over one million copies, and was awarded a gold disc. Other accomplishments
also include the Grammy Award for his 1959 hit and signature song "El Paso",
In addition to his recordings and performances, Robbins was an avid race car
driver, competing in 35 career NASCAR races with six top 10 finishes, including
the 197 Firecracker 400. In 1967, Robbins played himself in the car racing film
Hell on Wheels.
