Ron Harper has died. He was 91.

Ron Harper’s daughter, Nicole Longeuay, confirmed to Fox
News Digital that her father passed away peacefully from
natural causes on March 21.

Ron had a long career in Hollywood. From 1961-1962, Harper
starred on the police show, "87th Precinct." Following that,
Harper appeared on "Wendy and Me" from 1964-1965. 

By the time James Cameron took the stage to accept his Academy
Award for Best Director on the night of March 23, 1998, the Oscar dominance of his blockbuster film Titanic was all but assured.

Titanic tied the record for most Oscar nominations with 14—joining 1950’s All About Eve—and by night’s end would tie with Ben Hur
(1959) for most wins by sweeping 11 categories, including the
coveted Best Picture.

Michael Emmet Walsh (March 22, 1935 – March 19, 2024)

Longtime character actor M. Emmet Walsh has died. The
actor, known for his roles in films like Knives Out,
My Best Friend’s Wedding, Blade Runner, The Jerk, 
Romeo + Juliet, and more, died of cardiac arrest on
Tuesday, March 19. He was 88.

Walsh’s manager, Sandy Joseph, said he died at Kerbs
Memorial Hospital in St. Albans, Vermont. 

Walsh has been a working actor in Hollywood since his first
role in 1969 in Alice’s Restaurant. He racked up over 200
onscreen credits throughout his long career.

Mark Dodson, a voice actor known for playing Salacious
B. Crumb in Star Wars, has died. He suffered a heart
attack while attending a horror convention in Indiana
on March 2nd.

Joseph S. Camp Jr. (April 20, 1939 – March 15, 2024)

According to The New York Times, Joe Camp, the filmmaker behind the Benji film series died Friday. No further details.
