Max Von Sydow portraying Jesus in The Greatest Story Ever Told

Carl Adolf "Max" von Sydow has starred in many films and has
had many supporting roles. One of his most memorable film
roles is his portrayal of Jesus in The Greatest Story Ever Told
(1965).

Omar Sharif (Michel Demitri Shalhoub) is an Egyptian actor who
has starred in such Hollywood films as Lawrence of Arabia (1962)
Doctor Zhivago (1965) and Funny Girl (1968). He was nominated
for an Academy Award and has won two Golden Globe Awards.

Dennis William Quaid dropped out of the University of Houston before
graduating and moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. He
initially had difficulty finding work but began to gain recognition when
he appeared in Breaking Away (1979) and earned good reviews for
his role in The Right Stuff (1983).

Annette Joanne Funicello (October 22, 1942 – April 8, 2013)

(AP) – Legendary Disney Mouseketeer Annette Funicello died on Monday
from complications due to Multiple Sclerosis, a disease she battled for 
more than 25 years. The Disney company said she died peacefully at
Mercy Southwest Hospital in Bakersfield, Calif. 

 

                Milo O’Shea (June 2, 1926 – April 2, 2013)

New York (AP) – Irish character actor Milo O’Shea had roles in the NBC
television series “The West Wing” (1999 – 2006) and was often cast as
priests, playing one in the NBC sitcom “Cheers” (1982 – 1993). One of
his most memorable supporting roles was as a judge in the Sidney Lumet
directed 1982 film “The Verdict” starring Paul Newman. O’Shea also had
a career on Broadway, during which he earned two Tony nominations. He
died on Tuesday following a short illness.
