Country music artist Reba Nell McEntire has released 26 studio albums
and has had 35 number-one singles. She branched out into film starting
with 1990’s Tremors. Reba starred in the Broadway revival of Annie Get
Your Gun
and also starred in her own TV sitcom, Reba on WB (20001-
2007) for which she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for best
Performance by an Actress in a Television Series-Musical or Comedy.

Theme from a Summer Place spent an at-the-time record of nine consecutive
weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. It remains the
longest-running number-one instrumental in the history of the chart.

Percy Faith won a Grammy Award for Record of the Year in 1961 for the
recording which was the first movie theme and the first instrumental to
win a Record of the Year Grammy.

(March 27, 1899 – April 4, 1983)

Gloria Swanson was one of the most celebrated stars during the silent film 
era under the direction of Cecil B. DeMille. She made dozens of silents and 
was nominated for the first Academy Award in the Best Actress category.

To this day Gloria Swanson is best remembered for her role as Norma
Desmond, a fading silent film star, in the critically acclaimed 1950 film
Sunset Boulevard.

Al Jolson was a singer, comedian and actor who,during the height of his
career, was dubbed "The World’s Greatest Entertainer” and  was also
the highest paid. Jolson is best remembered as the star in the first
full length talking movie, The Jazz Singer in 1927.
