Sir Charles Spencer "Charlie" Chaplin (16 April 1889 – 25 December 1977)
was an English comedy actor, and film director best-know his work during the
silent film era. His character, The Tramp made him one of the most famous film
stars before and after World War 1.

Henry Mancini (April 16, 1924 – June 14, 1994) best remembered for his film and television scores. He won a record number of Grammy Awards (20), including a
Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award posthumously in 1995. Two of his best
known works are below, “Moon River” from the 1961 Blake Edwards movie
Breakfast at Tiffany’s and the theme from the NBC-TV series Peter Gunn
(1958-1961).

in Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 thriller “Psycho”. She died in 2004 at the age of
77 and now her former home in Beverly Hills (below) is on the real estate
market with a $4.5 million price tag.
MAX VON SYDOW TURNED 82 TODAY
Max von Sydow is a Swedish born actor who has also held French citizenship
since 2002. He has starred in many movies and had supporting roles in
dozens more. Some of his most memorable film roles include Jesus in
George Steven’s The Greatest Story Ever Told (1965), Father Merrin
in Friedkins’s The Exorcist (1973), and Ming the Merciless in the
1980 version of Flash Gordon.
