Actor, producer and director Nicolas Cage has appeared
in over 60 films including Raising Arizona (1987), Face/Off
in 1995, and National Treasure (2004). At the age of 32,Cage 
became the fifth youngest actor to win the Academy Award 
for Best Actor for his performance in Leaving Las Vegas (1995).

LORETTA YOUNG WAS BORN ON THIS DATE IN 1913

Loretta Young began as a child actress, she had a long and varied
career in films from 1917 to 1953. She won the 1948 Best Actress
Academy Award for her role in the 1947 film The Farmer’s
Daughter
, and received an Oscar nomination for work in 
Come to the Stable, in 1950. Loretta then moved to what 
was then the relatively new medium of television, where 
she had a dramatic anthology series from 1953 to 1961
called The Loretta Young Show. The series earned
three Emmy Awards. Loretta died August 12, 2000.
