(FOXNEWS) – Around 300 pieces of silver from two Viking treasures,
with approximately 50 whole coins, were found last fall in a Danish
field at Bramslev.

The coins were located around fives miles away from the Viking
castle Fyrkat, and date back to more than a thousand years ago.

The treasures were found less than 164 feet apart, containing
the coins and cut-up silver jewelry. 

North Jutland Museums said in a statement that the treasures
probably served as a means of payment by weight.

(Fox News) – A baseball glove that Babe Ruth used nearly a century
ago while playing for the New York Yankees sold for a record $1.5
million at an auction on Saturday. 

Ruth gifted the glove, which has light wear and even a "spatter
from tobacco juice," to Jimmy Austin, who played for the St.
Louis Browns.

It remained in Austin’s family until it was sold at the Louisville
Slugger Museum & Factory auction on Saturday.

A museum in New Jersey is giving people a fun and interactive experience from the past.

According to Reuters, the Silverball Retro Arcade in Asbury Park,
New Jersey, holds more than 150 working pinball machines that
visitors can play. Some of the machines date back to the 1950’s.
