REMEMBER THIS TELEVISION SERIES?
The Millionaire is an anthology series that aired on CBS from January 19, 1955,
to June 8, 1960, originally sponsored by Colgate-Palmolive. It told the stories of
people who were given one million dollars from a benefactor who insisted they
never know him, with one exception.
Marvin Elliott Miller (July 18, 1913 – February 8, 1985)
Paul Frees (Solomon Hersh Frees)
(June 22, 1920 – November 2, 1986)
Voice actor Paul Frees provided the voice of the eccentric
billionaire John Beresford Tipton, always seated in his chair
with his back to the viewer while talking to his employee
Michael Anthony.
