Harry Houdini (born Erik Weisz; March 24, 1874 – October 31, 1926) was a
Hungarian-born magician and escape artist, stunt performer, and actor/film
producer. He was noted for his sensational escape acts. In his later years,
Harry took his talent to the film arena where he both acted and started his
own film laboratory called The Film Development Corporation. Years later,
Harry would receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 1926 Houdini
died as a result of a ruptured appendix, after suffering a blow to the abdomen.

Matthew Broderick, the son of actor James Broderick, is a film and stage actor
who, among other roles, played the title character in Farris Bueller’s Day Off
(1986), and Leo Bloom in the 1968 film and Broadway productions of The
Producers. He has won two Tony Awards, one in 1983 for his featured role in
the play Brighton Beach Memoirs and one in 1995 for his leading role in the
musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Matthew was also
nominated for the Tony Award, Best Actor in a Musical, for The Producers but
lost to Lane. To date, Matthew Broderick is the youngest winner of the Tony
Award, Best Featured Actor in a Play.
