JAMES EARL JONES HAS TURNED 80

James Earl Jones, a multi-award-winning actor of stage and
screen is best known for providing his deep voice for Darth 
Vader in the Star Wars franchise. His first big role was the
part of boxer Jack Jefferson in the film version of the
Broadway play The Great White Hope, 1967.

Holland Taylor’s long acting career began in the theater. She 
appeared in numerous Broadway and off-Broadway productions
from 1960 to 1980. Taylor has been nominated four times for her
role as Evelyn Harper, Charlie and Alan’s mother in the CBS-TV
sitcom series Two and a Half Men.

FAMED ACTOR DIES AT 64

Pete Postlethwaite died Sunday following a long
battle with cancer. He was a veteren of the Royal
Shakespeare Company along with other acting 
companies. Steven Spielberg once called Pete
”the best actor in the world” after working
with him on The Lost World: Jurassic Park 
(1997). Postlethwaite was nominated for an 
Oscar for his role in In The Name of the
Father
(1993).
