Alfred Hitchcock Presents is a television anthology series created, hosted, and produced by Alfred Hitchcock, and aired on CBS and
NBC between 1955 and 1965. It features dramas, thrillers, and
mysteries. Between 1962 and 1965 it was renamed The Alfred
Hitchcock Hour. Hitchcock himself directed a relatively small
number of episodes. The series has continued to be popular on
classic television networks.



Betty Marion White Ludden
Actress and comedian Betty White, with a television career
spanning over 80 years, has worked longer in that medium
than anyone else in the television industry. She is regarded
as a pioneer of television, and was one of the first women
to exert control in front of and behind the camera and is
recognized as the first woman to produce a sitcom (Life
with Elizabeth),[which contributed to her receiving the
honorary title Mayor of Hollywood in 1955.

Dawn Elberta Wells (October 18, 1938 – December 30. 2020)
(Fox News) – Dawn Wells, who famously played Mary Ann Summers,
on “Gilligan’s Island” has died. Her publicist said the actress died
in Los Angeles of COVID-19 related causes Wednesday morning.
Wells starred as the unapologetic “good girl” who was stranded
on an island with six other castaways. “Gilligan’s Island“ ran from
1964 to 1967 on CBS – for three seasons – and yet it has never
gone off the air. It continues to be screened across the world in
over 30 languages.
