Charles Eugene "Pat" Boone was one of the highest charting singers in the late 1950s and early 1960s. According to Billboard magazine, Boone was the second biggest charting artist behind only Elvis Presley. He sold over 45 million albums, had 38 Top 40 hits and has appeared in more than 12 Hollywood films.
Melvin Jerome "Mel" Blanc(May 30, 1908 – July 10, 1989)
Blanc, known as "The Man of 1000 Voices", was born in San Francisco, California, and later moved to Portland, Oregon where he attended Lincoln High School. He began his radio career at age 19 on the KGW program The Hoot Owls in 1927. This is where his ability to produce voices for a large number of characters was first noticed. Blanc also worked for KEX radio in Portland with his own show in 1933.
Mel Blanc later moved to Los Angeles and joined Warner-Bros- owned KFWB radio in Hollywood where he soon became the voices of various Warner-Bros cartoon characters including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig, just to name a few.
Whelchel is best known for portraying Blair Warner on The Facts of Life which aired on NBC from 1979 to 1988. She was a Mousekeeter on The New Mickey Mouse Club. Her Christian album “All Because of You” earned her a Grammy Award Nomination for Best Inspirational Performance. She was a contestant on the twenty-fifth season of Survivor and came in 2nd place.
