Elvis Presley and guitarist James Burton

Burton has been a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since 2001. He has
also been recognized by the Rockabilly Hall of Fame and the Musicians Hall of
Fame and Museum. One critic writes that "Burton has a well-deserved reputation
as one of the best guitar players to ever touch a fretboard."

Since the 1950s, Burton has recorded and performed with an array of notable
singers, including Bob Luman, Dale Hawkins, Ricky Nelson, Elvis Presley, Roy
Orbison, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, and Glen Campbell to name a few.

Jackie DeShannon had a string of hits beginning in the 1960s. She was
one of the first female singer-songwriters of the rock ‘n’ roll era. She is
currently an entertainment broadcast correspondent on Sirius XM
Satellite Radio on the weekends.

Burton Roy Sugarman became 74 on January 4th

"Last Train to Clarksville" is the debut single by The Monkees. It 
was recorded at RCA Victor Studio B in Hollywood, on July 25, 
1966. The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 on November 5.

Rose Marie played writer Sally Rogers on The Dick Van Dyke
Show, CBS from 1961 to 1966. She had a successful singing
career as child performer, Baby Rose Marie. As a teenager,
she became a nightclub performer before transitioning to
radio as a comedian.
