The Dean Martin Show, or The Dean Martin Variety Show, is a
TV varietycomedy series that ran until April 5, 1974 for 264
episodes. It was broadcast by NBC and hosted by Dean Martin.

The theme song to the series was his 1964 hit "Everybody Loves
Somebody
."

Arthur Godfrey’s Talent Scouts (also known as Talent Scouts) was a television 
variety show which premiered December 6, 1948 ran on CBS until January 1, 
1958.  Sponsored by Lipton Tea, According to the Nielsen ratings, it was the
highest rated television show for the 1951–1952 season.

On December 24, 1956, Arthur Godfrey’s Talent Scouts became the first TV 
entertainment program to be videotaped for broadcast using the technology
of the new .Ampex quadruplex videotape machine (below).
