ART LINKLETTER’S HOUSE PARTY

art linkletter

Art Linkletter on the set of his House Party show. The variety/talk program
began on September 1, 1952 and was television’s longest-running daytime variety show when it concluded on September 5, 1969.  It’s been said that Linkletter never used scripts or rehearsed.

The signature segment of the afternoon show was when Art would
prove that kids indeed say the darndest things.
