Popular Late night TV host David Letterman (above) attend Ball State University,
in Muncie, Indiana where he began his broadcasting career as an announcer and newscaster at the college’s student-run radio station…WBST, a 10-watt campus
station which now is part of Indiana public radio. He was reportedly fired for treating classical music with “irreverence”. He graduated from what was then the college’s  Department of Radio and Television, in 1969.

Martin  Short is a Canadian born comedian,actor,writer, producer and singer. His
comedy work includes starring in such film as Three Amigos (1986), Innerspace
(1987,) and Pure Luck (1991). Short has resumed work in the theater, earning
several Tony Awards. Martin’s Grimley character (below) has become his best-
known original character. Short is also recognized for his impersonations of
various celebrities.

Marty Allen  is a popular stand-up comedian and actor. He has worked as a comedy
headliner in night clubs and as a dramatic actor in TV roles .He joined the Air Corps
during World War ll and earned a Soldier’s Medal for his bravery during a fire which happened while a plane was being refueled.

Carl Reiner, actor, film director/producer, writer and comedian has worked
on a wide range of films and television programs. He has won nine Emmy  
Awards and one Grammy during this career. Reiner has the distinction of  
being the only person to appear on all five incarnations of The Tonight 
Show. Carl Reiner is the father of actor-turned-director, Rob Reiner.
