Barbara Joan "Barbra" Streisand

With a career spanning over six decades, Barbara has achieved

On April 24, 1916, on Easter Monday in Dublin, the Irish
Republican Brotherhood, a secret organization of Irish
nationalists led by Patrick Pearse, launched the so-called
Easter Rising, an armed uprising against British rule.

Assisted by militant Irish socialists under James Connolly,
Pearse and his fellow Republicans rioted and attacked British
provincial government headquarters across Dublin and seized
the Irish capital’s General Post Office.

James Connolly was the Leader of The Irish
Citizen Army.

On April 23, 1969, Sirhan Sirhan was given the death penalty
after being convicted in the assassination of senator Robert
F. Kennedy. In 1972, Sirhan’s sentence was commuted to life
in prison after California abolished the death penalty. He
turned 80  last month.
