Kurt Russell’s first acting roles were as a child in television such as the lead role in  
the western series The Travels of Jamie McPheeters (1963–1964). In the 1970s he signed a ten-year contract with the Walt Disney company, where he became the
studio’s top star of the ’70s. In 1979, Russell was nominated for an Emmy Award for
the made-for-television film Elvis. In 1983, he was nominated for a Golden Globe
Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for  
his performance in the 1984 film, Silkwood. During the 1980s, Russell was cast in  
several films by director John Carpenterin the futuristic action film Escape From New York, the horror film The Thing (1982), and the dark comedy/action film Big Trouble in Little China (1986). In 1994, he had a starring role in the military/science fiction film Stargate.

league team that began play in the Class A Northwest League in

His career faced a resurgence in the 1990s with his role in Pulp Fiction (1994), and he has since continued starring in many Hollywood films.Travolta has twice been nominated for the Academy Award For Best Actor.The first, for his role in Saturday Night Fever and the second for Pulp Fiction. He won the Golden Globe Award For Best Actor-Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for his 1995 performance in Get Shorty.

Christian (Charles Philip) Bale is an English actor who, In addition to starring
in big budget Hollywood  films,  has played in films produced by independent
producers and art houses. Bale first caught the public eye at the age of 13,
when he was cast in the starring role of Steven Spielberg’s 1987 film Empire
of the Sun. He has
recently received critical acclaim for his performance in
The Fighter
(2010),earning him several awards including the Golden Globe
for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture and a  nomination for the
Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
