Former Portland Trail Blazer Maurice Lucas has died. He was
the Starting Forward for the Blazers when they won the 1977
Championship. Lucas had been suffering from a long illness.
He was 58.

RICHARD DRYFUSS TURNED 63 TODAY

Dryfuss won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1977 for “The Goodby Girl”
and was nominated in 1955 for “Mr Holland’s Opus”, a movie filmed in Portland.
