My Little Margie premiered on CBS as a summer sitcom replacement   
for I love Lucy in 1952, sponsored by Philip Morris cigarettes.The show
alternated TV networks between CBS and NBC until the final episode 
aired in 1955.

My Little Margie starred Gale Storm (left) as Margie Albright
and former silent film star Charles Farrell ( right) played her
father Vern Albright.

Cuba Gooding, Jr. won an Academy Award for Best
Actor for his character, Rod Tidwell in the 1996 film 
Jerry Maguire.

Cuba played Navy Master Chief Petty Officer Carl Brashear
in the above 2000 film. Some exterior locations were shot 
in downtown Portland.

   
Bob Cummings (center) played Hollywood playboy 
photographer Bob Collins, his sister Margaret was
Rosemary De Camp (seated right), secretary “Schultzy”
was played by Ann B. Davis (standing left) and as Bob’s
nephew “Chuck” was Dwayne Hickman (standing right). 
The NBC-TV sitcom aired until 1959. The Executive
Producer of the show was George Burns.

 
Cumming’s also played the role of his grandfather in the series.

 
Buffalo Bob Smith was the voice of Howdy, the freckled-
faced marionette. The show had a thirteen-year run on NBC.
