ACTRESS HOLLY HUNTER IS 53 TODAY

"LITTLE BLACK BOOK" PREMIERE

Holly Hunter made her screen debut in the 1981 horror movie The Burning. She
also starred in The Piano (1993) for which she won the Academy Award for Best
Actress. She has also been nominated for an Oscar for her roles in Broadcast
News
(1987), The Firm (1993), and Thirteen (2003). Hunter has also won two
Emmy Awards with seven nominations and has won a Golden Globe Award
with another six nominations.

The 25th annual Academy Awards show was first televised on NBC which continued to cover the event until 1960 when the ABC Network took over, televising the festivities through 1970, after which NBC resumed the broadcasts. ABC once again took over broadcast duties in 1976; it is under contract to do so through the year 2020. Bob
