including Heath Barkley, in The Big Valley on ABC (1965-1969), Jess Brandon,
in Owen Marshall: Counselor at Law on ABC (1971-1974), and as Colonel Steve
Austin, in The Six Million Dollar Man, also on ABC-TV (1974-1978).
Jan and Dean recorded “Surf City” with The Beach Boys providingÂ
background vocals. Brian Wilson penned the tune that became the first
surf song to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and even crossed
over to the R&B chart where it reached #3.
Joyce DeWitt is most famous for playing Janet Wood on the ABC-TV sitcom Three’s Company (1977-1984).
