The Jeffersons is a CBS sitcom that aired from Saturday, January 18, 1975, through June 25, 1985. lasting 11 seasons for a total of 253 episodes. It was the longest-
running sitcom with a predominantly African American cast in the history of American
television. The show was the second spin-off of All in the Family, on which George
and Louise Jefferson had been neighbors of Archie and Edith Bunker. The series 
was created by producer Norman Lear.

Cleveland.
