TODAY IN HISTORY ~
English actor John Marwood Cleese is 73 today. He became a member of
the comedy troupe Monty Python in the late 1960s and is probably best
known for his role in “A Fish Called Wanda” (1988). Prior to fame, Cleese
studied law at Cambridge.

JACKIE COOGAN, BORN ON THIS DAY IN 1914
Jackie Coogan in The Addams Family
John Leslie Coogan (October 26, 1914 – March 1, 1984)
Coogan began his movie career as a child actor in silent films. Years
later, he became known as Uncle Fester on the ABC sitcom The
Addams Family (1964 – 1966).
NUMBER-ONE ON THIS DAY IN 1974
The teaming of Dionne Warwick with The Spinners resulted in
both artists having their first number one hit when "Then Came
You" reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
