Art Ginsburg, commonly known as Mr. Food, was a television chef and best
selling author of cookbooks. He had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer
in 2011 and underwent treatments, including surgery, which had caused the
cancer to go into remission. However, it returned in October. He died at his
home that he shared with his wife Ethel in Weston, Florida. Ginsburg was
originally a butcher and ran his own catering business prior to work in
television. The series he founded is expected to continue with other
chefs as hosts.
