Johnny Rivers (John Henry Ramistella) was inducted into 
the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame on June 12, 2009. Rivers
is still touring, doing 50 to 60 shows a year.

William Franklin "Billy" Graham, Jr.

Since his ministry began in 1947, Billy Graham conducted more than 400 crusades in 185 countries and territories on six continents. The first Billy Graham Crusade, held Sept. 13–21, 1947, in the Civic Auditorium in Grand Rapids, Mich., was attended by 6,000 people. Graham was 29 years old. In
1950, he founded the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association headquartered
in Minneapolis.
