Cynthia Jane "Cindy" Williams is best known for starring in the ABC-TV
situation-comedy series Laverne & Shirley, (1976-1983) in the role of
Shirley Feeney, and for her role as Laurie Henderson in the classic
1973 film American Graffiti.
After graduating college,Williams debuted as an actress through a
variety of commercials for Foster Grant sunglasses.
