J.J. Cale (John Weldon Cale) (December 5, 1938 – July 26, 2013)

who was one of the originators of the Tulsa Sound, a loose genre
drawing on blues, rockabilly, country, and jazz influences. He died
Friday, July 26 at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla, California,
after suffering a heart attack.
J. Cool here to say we lost a great one in J. J.. Cale. He was a great singer, songwriter
in his own right, but probably best remembered for After Midnight and Cocaine which he
wrote but were performed by the great Eric Clapton.
