The IBM Personal Computer (PC) was introduced at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel
in New York City. It was created by a team of engineers and designers under
the direction of Don Estridge of the IBM Entry Systems Division in Boca Raton,
Florida

ONE HIT WONDERS – FROM 1961

The Echoes (formerly the Laurels) were a product of the great
New York borough of Brooklyn. 

The song “Baby Blue” first broke in Cleveland and was a huge
hit going all the way to #12 in Billboard and #9 in Cashbox.
