ACTOR BORN ON THIS DAY IN 1901


Gary Cooper (born Frank James Cooper in Helena, Montana)
(May 7, 1901 – May 13, 1961)

Cooper became famous for playing Marshall Will Kane in “High Noon”
(1952). He also played roles in “Mr. Deeds Goes to Town” (1936), and 
“The Pride of the Yankees” (1942). Before fame, he managed a ranch
and worked as a newspaper cartoonist in Montana.
