Principal photography for “Jaws” began on the island of Martha’s Vineyard,
Massachusetts. The location was chosen because the surrounding ocean
had a sandy bottom that never dropped below 35 feet out from shore which
allowed the mechanical sharks to operate.

Judith Marjorie "Judy" Collins was born in Seattle, Washington.

Folk singer Judy Collins has won Grammy Awards, as well as being
awarded a Honorary Doctor of Fine Arts Degree from Pratt Institute.

She was inspired to pursue a career in music after hearing singers
Bob Seger and Woodie Guthrie.

The National Railroad Passenger Corporation, better known as Amtrak, is a
publicly funded railroad service operated and managed as a for-profit which
began operations on May 1, 1971, to provide intercity passenger train service
in the United States.

Amtrak operates more than 300 trains each day on 21,300 miles of track that
connects more than 500 destinations in 46 states.  Its headquarters is at Union
Station
in Washington, D.C. The name "Amtrak" is a combination of the words
"America" and "trak",
