Principal photography for “Jaws” began on the island of Martha’s Vineyard,
Massachusetts. The location was chosen because the surrounding ocean
had a sandy bottom that never dropped below 35 feet out from shore which
allowed the mechanical sharks to operate.

"Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter" was originally
sung by actor Tom Courtenay in The Lads, a British TV play
of 1963 and released as a single in the UK.

Judith Marjorie "Judy" Collins was born in Seattle, Washington.

Folk singer Judy Collins has won Grammy Awards, as well as being
awarded a Honorary Doctor of Fine Arts Degree from Pratt Institute.

She was inspired to pursue a career in music after hearing singers
Bob Seger and Woodie Guthrie.

publicly funded railroad service operated and managed as a for-profit which
began operations on May 1, 1971, to provide intercity passenger train service
in the United States.

Station in Washington, D.C. The name "Amtrak" is a combination of the words
"America" and "trak",
