Jack Carter (born Jack Chakrin in New York, New York)  

(June 24, 1922 – June 28, 2015)

Carter had a long-running comedy act similar to fellow contemporaries
Milton Berle and Morey Amsterdam. He hosted an early television variety
program called Cavalcade of Stars
on the DuMont Network and made
appearances on many television series.

Carter died on Sunday, June 28, at his home in Beverly Hills, California,
of respiratory failure.

Walmart was founded by Sam Walton (below) in 1962 and incorporated on October 
31,1969. The company has over 11,000 stores in 28 countries with headquarters
in Bentonville, Arkansas.

acetate. The record became the most successful two-sided hit on Billboard’s
Top/Hot 100 chart. The two titles spent a combined 55 weeks in the Top 100
in 1956-1957.
