Bela Lugosi (Béla Ferenc Dezső Blaskó)
(October 20, 1882 – August 16, 1956)
Bela Lugosi was a Hungarian-born actor, famous for portraying Count
Dracula in the original 1931 film and for his roles in various other horror
films including The Black Cat (1934) and The Raven (1935). He dropped
out of school when he was twelve years old, and began appearing in
Shakespeare plays.
