sold for $40,000 by auction house Raab Collection on Wednesday.
The romantic side of president Adams was revealed in
newly discovered wedding album held privately by
family for nearly 200 years.
A "friendship album" compiled by 19-year-old bride-to-be
Ellen Maria Brackett of Quincy, Massachusetts.
