BAND’S KEYBOARDIST HAS DIED AT AGE 75

John Gosling (February 6, 1948 – August 4, 2023)
Gosling joined The Kinks in 1970, after a successful audition
of the band’s song "Lol.” "He was replaced by Gordon
Edwards in 1978.
In 1994, Gosling founded The Kast Off Kinks, alongside former
band members Mick Avory, Jim Rodford and John Dalton. He
retired in 2008.

Lucille Désirée Ball
On August 6, 1911, Lucille Desiree Ball, one of America’s
most famous redheads and beloved comic actresses, was
born near Jamestown, New York.
“I love Lucy” ran from October 15, 1951 to May 6, 1957 on
CBS.
