Suzanne Marie Somers (October 16, 1946 – October 15, 2023)

Just a day before her 77th birthday, Suzanne Somers passed
away Sunday morning following a 50-year battle with cancer. 

Somers‘ family had plans to celebrate her 77th birthday
Monday, Instead, they will celebrate her life.

ottal of 180 half-hour episodes, spanning six seasons.

The show starred Lucille Ball, her husband, Desi Arnaz,

(AP) – Piper Laurie, the strong-willed, Oscar-nominated
actor who performed in acclaimed roles despite at one
point abandoning acting altogether in search of a "more
meaningful" life, died early Saturday at her home in Los
Angeles

Laurie died of old age, her manager, Marion Rosenberg,
told The Associated Press via email, adding that she
was "a superb talent and a wonderful human being."

The Misfits is a 1961 Contemporary Western film written by
Arthur Miller, directed by John Huston, and starring Clark
Gable, Marilyn Monroe, and Montgomery Clift (above). The
supporting cast includes Thelma Ritter and Eli Wallach.

  
The Misfits was the last completed film for both Clark Gable
and Marilyn Monroe. For Gable, the film was posthumously
released, while Monroe died in August 1962 after its release.
