Pinocchio is a 1940 animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney
Productions and based on the story The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo
Collodi. It is the second animated feature film produced by Disney. Made
after the success of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio was
released to theaters by RKO Radio Pictures. The world premier was at
the Center Theatre in Manhattan.

features catalog.
The film consists of eight animated segments set to pieces of classical
music conducted by Leopold Stokowski; seven of which are performed
by the Philadelphia Orchestra. Music critic and composer Deems Taylor
acts as the film’s Master of Ceremonies.

Josie and the Pussy Cats is an animated television series, based upon
the Archie Comics comic book series of the same name created by
Dan DeCarlo. Produced for Saturday morning television by Hanna-
Barbera Productions, sixteen episodes aired on CBS during the
1970-71 season.
