personality. He has recorded over 80 albums and has received
to date, seven gold records and three Grammy Awards in his
career.

IT’S PEGGY LEE’S BIRTHDAY
Peggy Lee (May 26, 1920 – January 21, 2002)
Lee was a jazz and popular music singer, songwriter, composer and
actress with a career spanning six decades. She began as a singer
on local radio to performing with the big band of Benny Goodman.
Peggy wrote music for films, and acted as well, receiving three Grammy
Awards including the Lifetime Achievement Award, an Academy Award
nomination and a ASCAP Award. Lee was inducted into the Songwriters
Hall of Fame in 1999.

Actress Mary Debra Winger gained critical acclaim for her performance in
Urban Cowboy in 1980 followed by her Academy Award-nominated work
in An Officer and a Gentleman (1982). She also appeared in Terms of
