The 25th annual Academy Awards show was first televised on NBC which continued to cover the event until 1960 when the ABC Network took over, televising the festivities through 1970, after which NBC resumed the broadcasts. BRUCE WILLIS IS 56 YEARS OLD TODAY
Actor, producer, and musician. the career of  Bruce Willis began in television
in the 1980s and has continued both in television and film since, including
comedic, dramatic, and action roles. He is well known for the role of John
McClane in the Die Hard series of four action films beginning with Die Hard
in 1988. He has also appeared in over sixty films, including box office hitsÂ
like Pulp Fiction (1994), 12 Monkeys (1995), The Fifth Element (1997),
Armageddon (1998), and The Sixth Sense in 1999. Willis is the ninth
highest-grossing actor in a leading role and twelfth highest including
supporting roles. He is a two-time Emmy Award and Golden Globe
winner.
URSULA ANDRESS HAS TURNED 75 TODAY
Ursula Andress is a Swiss born actress who was a sex symbol of the 1960s. She is
known for her role as the first Bond girl Honey Ryder in Dr. No (1962), for which she
won a Golden Globe. In 1995 Andress was chosen by Empire Magazine as one of
the "100 Sexiest Stars in film history."

Actress Glenn Close is most known for her roles as the deranged stalker Alex
Forres in Fatal Attraction with Michael Douglas (1987). She is also known for
playing Cruella de Vil in 101 Dalmatians (1996), and its sequel 102 Dalmatians

Gary Sinise is well known actor, film director and musician. He has won various
awards during his career. In 1992, Sinise directed, and played the role of George
Milton in the successful film adaptation Of Mice and Men. He was nominated forÂ
the Academy Award For Best Supporting Actor in 1994 for his role as Lt. Dan
Taylor in Forrest Gump. He won a Golden Globe Award for his role in Truman,
as Harry S. Truman. In 1996, he played a corrupt police officer in the dramatic hit Ransom. In 1998, Sinise was awarded an Emmy for his title role portrayal in the
television film George Wallace. Since 2004, Sinise has starred in CBS’s CSI: NY.
