2 on the Billboard pop charts, No. 3 on the R&B charts, and No.
1 on the country charts. It was ranked as the 96th greatest song
ever by Rolling Stone and is also listed as one of the world’s best-
selling singles of all time.

Studio In Memphis. It began at 10 o’clock on a Saturday morning and

by words on his father’s tombstone, "To Know Him Was To Love Him." It was

The song "You Send Me" by Sam Cooke is the A-side to "Summertime". It
was Cooke’s debut single and was a huge success, becoming a number- 
one hit on both Billboard‘s Rhythm & Blues Records chart and the Billboard
Hot 100. The song was named as one of the 500 most important rock and
roll recordings by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. In April 2010, the song
ranked #115 in Rolling Stone magazine’s The 500 Greatest Songs of All
Time.

Roy Orbison’s "Oh, Pretty Woman" spent three weeks at
number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on September 26,
1964, second single by Orbison to top the charts.
